What we set, why, and how to control it

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Nothing non-essential is loaded until you click "Accept" on the banner shown on your first visit.
Strictly necessary
These are always set because the site can't function correctly without them:
- eis_consent — stores your consent choice ("granted" or "denied") so we don't ask again on every page. Stored in your browser's
localStorage, not as a traditional cookie.
Analytics (set only after you accept)
If you click "Accept" on the consent banner, the following are loaded:
- Google Tag Manager — a tag container that loads the analytics tools below. Sets a short-lived cookie used by the loader.
- Google Analytics 4 — sets
_gaand_ga_*cookies to count unique visitors and aggregate behaviour. Retention defaults to 14 months for user-level data. - Microsoft Clarity — sets
_clck,_clsk, and related cookies used for anonymised session recordings and heatmaps. Recordings mask form fields and sensitive text.
What we don't do
- We do not run advertising cookies or share data with Google's advertising products.
- We do not use cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- We do not set marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party social trackers.
How to change your choice
To withdraw consent after accepting, clear your browser's site data for eis-uk.com. The next page load will show the consent banner again, where you can choose "Reject". You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings — see aboutcookies.org for instructions covering all major browsers.
