What we set, why, and how to control it

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Nothing non-essential is loaded until you click "Accept" on the banner shown on your first visit.
Strictly necessary
These are always set because the site can't function correctly without them:
- eis_consent: stores your consent choice ("granted" or "denied") so we don't ask again on every page. Stored in your browser's
localStorage, not as a traditional cookie.
Analytics (set only after you accept)
If you click "Accept" on the consent banner, one tool is loaded. Nothing is loaded before that, and nothing is loaded at all if you click "Reject".

Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses before they are stored, so we never receive or hold your full IP address. We use it to see which pages people read, how they arrived, and whether they go on to enquire. We do not use it to identify individuals.
What we don't do
- We do not run advertising cookies or share data with Google's advertising products.
- We do not use cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- We do not set marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party social trackers.
- We do not run Google Tag Manager or Microsoft Clarity. An earlier version of this page listed both. Neither is configured and neither loads, so no cookie from either is set on this site.
How to change your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. It reopens the banner so you can switch between Accept and Reject as often as you like. Withdrawing is the same two clicks as giving, which is what UK GDPR requires.
Choosing Reject stops analytics storage immediately, without waiting for a page reload. Any _ga cookies already set stay in your browser until they expire or you clear them, but they stop being read or updated. To remove them outright, clear site data for eis-uk.com in your browser, or block cookies entirely using your browser settings. aboutcookies.org has instructions for all major browsers.
